Magnolia Hills Rules
Please read the rules carefully, and be prepared to follow them if you join. If you do not believe that you can follow them, then please do a favor to everyone and do not join. If you do join, and we find that you aren’t following the rules, you will be asked to leave.
1.) It’s an adult thing – You MUST BE 18 years of age or older to register for this site.
2.) Drama isn’t cool. – While we understand that drama is an important part for most threads, if it is to be excessive, please tag it as so.
But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep it down when OOC(out of character). Fighting, and rudeness are absolutely not tolerated, also rumor starting is a BIG no-no here, and personal attacks are not appreciated.
3.) No Runaway Threads Yes, you are reading correctly. There is to be no "running away". While we understand that your child chracter or innerkid may not be getting the attention they need or desire, running away is not the answer, and it isn't tolerated or appreciated by the staff.
4.) R-E-S-P-E-C-T - This is a safe, non-sexual age play environment. Please treat all members with respect.
- ALSO. If you are posting with someone and they have to leave, PLEASE do not continue to post to the point that it is difficult for them to catch up. If you want to continue to play, then please, start a new thread.(unless of course you have permission to carry on the thread)
If there is to be offensive language in your post, then please TAG IT APPROPRIATELY.
5.) Let’s be realistic! – While doing some things that are a little out there is okay, let’s try and be realistic. That means, if it can’t happen in real life, then it shouldn’t be here either.
6.) No extreme violence – If you have a thread that has extreme danger involved, then please do a couple of things. 1. Tag it appropriately. 2. Please PM a administrator, explaining the direction of your thread and ensure that there is no serious harm planned for the characters involved.
7.) For Balance – If you have more than two child characters, you will be required to make an active adult character.
8.) Adoption – You must be on a minimum of 2 RL(real life) months before you are eligible for adoption. Also, your adoptions must be pre-approved.
9.) Let’s stay active! – In order to keep the site as active as possible, we do ask that you post for your character at least 3 times per week. If you go 30 days without posting or notifying the staff of your absence, you do risk being deleted.
10.) We write in third person ONLY.
11.) Quality over quantity. – You MUST write a minimum of 5 lines, or 8 sentences. We ask you to be thorough in your posting and understand that this may take more time for responses, it’s a quality over quantity thing.
12.) Last but not least, you MUST fill out an application, email it to us, and be granted permission before being allowed to post.
**Most importantly, HAVE FUN!**
If you have any questions, please feel free to email or PM any of the staff.
Also, these rules apply to EVERYONE, not just certain people the staff want to give a hard time, it even applies to us!
